FTA’s 2018 Bus Infrastructure Grants

The FTA’s grant program aims to improve bus facilities and bus infrastructure across the country, and move towards the use of low- or no-emission vehicles.

The Federal Transit Administration is offering $366.3 million in competitive grants toward proposals for bus facilities and bus infrastructure programs across the country.

Through the FTA’s Bus & Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program , funding can be used for a variety of transit-related projects, including:

  • Replacing, rehabilitating and purchasing buses or equipment
  • Constructing bus-related facilities
  • Implementing technological changes
  • Working towards low- or no-emission facilities and vehicles

The deadline to apply for funding is Aug. 6 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
