2018 AFG Grants Open September 24th

The 2018 AFG grants are open until October 26, 2018.

WASHINGTON — FEMA announced the application period dates for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant ( AFG ) Program.

According to the agency , the FY2018 AFG application period will begin Monday, Sept. 24 at 8 a.m. EST and will remain open until Friday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. EST.

Apply for the funding via the e-Grants application on the FEMA online portal.

All AFG program applicants and awardees must also register with System for Award Management.

Register on SAM.gov .
