$2.2M in EPA Source Reduction Assistance Grants

The U.S. EPA 2016-2017 Source Reduction Assistance Grant round is open nationwide for pollution prevention projects that improve environmental footprints.

 

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering $20,000 – $260,000 in source reduction assistance to local governments, non-profits and others nationwide for pollution prevention through reduction and resource conservation work.

The Source Reduction Assistance (SRA) grants will range over a two-year funding period and require a five percent match.

Projects should include surveys, studies, research, investigation, experimentation, education, training or demonstrations. Awarded projects will focus on the SRA program’s national emphasis areas, including climate change, food manufacturing or hazardous materials source reduction. The grant program seeks practical pollution prevention and source reduction approaches that measurably improve environmental footprints.

Applications are due by June 6, 2016.
