Connecticut Conference of Municipalities and EfficientGov Partner to Provide Grants Research

Salem, MA – Gov1.com today announced its first ever statewide partnership, providing its GrantFinder cloud-based research service to all members of the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM). 
 
The agreement will give 158 CCM-member cities and towns access to EfficientGov’s GrantFinder real-time federal, state and foundation database.
 
“We realized that limited personnel and financial resources hindered the ability of our CCM-member towns and cities to take full advantage of grant-funded opportunities,” said Joe DeLong, CCM’s Executive Director. “Our goal was to find a simple, efficient and comprehensive tool to enhance those efforts. By partnering with Gov1, CCM now provides its members with the means to more successfully compete for grant funded opportunities.”

As municipal budgets continue to be tested, grant funding is a key part of the annual revenue needed to operate an efficient local government.
